When making soap, it is inevitable that things don't always go quite according to plan. These bars of soap are the end result!
They are all made from our wonderful lard soap recipes and there is nothing wrong with the ingredients, or the finished bar of soap, they just simply don't make the cut for our regular pricing. Perhaps they were cut a wee bit too small, as we cut all of our soaps by hand, or the edge might have slightly broken off or they might begin to crack during usage, but will still remain intact.
Either way, they are perfectly good to use and are by no means a lower quality soap, they just simply deserve to be sold at a discount. When you order our flawed soap, you get what you get!

To extend the life of your handcrafted soap, allow it to dry completely between uses by storing it on a soap dish, such as our artisan Wooden Soap Docks. If soap sits in water, it can become soft and mushy.
Store any unused soap bars in a cool, dark, airy location.
Use a skin patch test on your inner arm prior to first use.
