These Birch Bark Moon Ornaments are handcrafted from fallen White Birch trees here at our farm in Nova Scotia that we then use for firewood. We do not strip the bark from live trees!
Each ornament is unique, no two are alike, making them a truly handcrafted, one of a kind creation. Depending on the layer of bark used, the color can vary from shades of grey and off-white to beige and brown.
They can be displayed seasonally or at any time of year. The ornaments are individually hand-cut, using jute twine to hang, and are then glued together to create a stronger, two-sided design.
