These birch bark earrings are handcut from White Birch trees here at our farm.  We do not harvest the bark from live standing trees as that is very harmful for their health.  Instead, we collect the bark from windfallen trees or trees that we harvest for milling or firewood.
 
Each pair is then individually designed and cut by hand, making them truly unique.  We only use hypoallergenic, surgical stainless steel earring hooks and rings for all of our earrings.
