Our Tallow Lotion Bars are made from grass-fed and grass-finished pasture-raised cattle from a small local farm here in Nova Scotia as well as our own non-certified organic lard and beeswax from a local producer.
We render the tallow and lard ourselves in small batches and add some raw beeswax to create this very moisturizing and soothing lotion bar. There are no preservatives, chemicals, or other toxic ingredients.
Tallow contains fat soluble vitamins A, D, K, and E and is easily absorbed into the skin, which means that you won't be left with a greasy feeling. If you do find that your skin feels greasy after application, simply apply less next time as you don't have to use much at all. Tallow lotion bars are wonderful for softening the skin and can be used on your hands, feet, elbows, lips or anywhere else that needs a little moisturizing.
And as it is such an effective moisturizer, a little really does go a long way. Since there are no synthetic preservatives in our lotion bars, it should be used up within 4-6 months. If you want to prolong the life of your lotion bar, keep it in a cool, dark location and ensure that you apply it with clean hands so as to not introduce bacteria onto the bar.

Grass-fed, Grass-finished Tallow, Lard, Beeswax.
Does not include any synthetic preservatives, chemicals, or other toxins.
Using clean hands, rub the lotion bar between your hands until you have the desired coating. Store the bar in a cool, dark location between uses.
